Cookie Swap

Jennie did the annual cookie swap at her house, and we had so much fun! Every kid was definitely pumped full of sugar, but we all had a great time! AND each kid got to see Santa-Riley Kate just about talked his head off-she is my little social butterfly!! The cookie party was definietly a success-thanks to Jennie for all her hard work!!

Marathon

After the Race
Before the Race
After the race and on our way to eat at Houston's--a St. Jude race tradition Jason and I started 3 years ago when I ran my first half marathon!
I finally did it!! I ran the St Jude Memphis Marathon! I love running and decided to challenge myself to run 26.2 miles. I trained for a couple of months and am so glad that I did it!! I feel like a real runner now! It was an amazing experience, and I would love to do another one in the future!!

Greenwood Christmas Parade

Jennie and I took the kids to the Greenwood parade because we forgot about the parade here, and we felt guilty! It was soooooo cold, but the kids absolutely loved it! Thanks to Haley for inviting us and taking us to the parade!! It will definitely be a happy Christmas memory for the kids--they had a ball!

Thanksgiving Play

Grayton's little Thanksgiving play was so adorable! He was the Indian chief, and he did such a fabulous job!! He is such a blessing to us!

Fun at the Library with Mimi

The kids love to go to the library, but Riley Kate gets so ecxited that she starts getting loud-which is not a good thing in the library!! Mimi took the kids to the library after going on a cookie hunt downtown! They had so much fun!!

OUR ADDICTION!!

OUR ADDICTION!!
After the birth of Grayton, Jason and I began running and became highly addicted!! I soon made my first jogging stroller purchase, The Tike Tech all terrain single jogger. It was wonderful until I needed another seat for Riley Kate. I got this Dreamer Design off of ebay, and I love it! I call it my freedom and my sanity because I can load up the kids and go running whenever I feel like it! The kids love to stroll. They usually ask to go. We have run several races just for fun--Delta Jubilee 5K, Juke Joint Festival 5K, St. Jude 1/2 Marathon, Double Decker 10K, 300 Oaks 10K, etc. We love to run and if there is a race we can make it to, we'll run it!! We are running about 4 to 5 miles a day now with long runs of 7 to 12 miles on the weekends!

A LITTLE HOBBY OF MINE

A LITTLE HOBBY OF MINE
Since Grayton's 1st birthday, I have ventured out a bit and started baking and creating my kid's birthday cakes each year. Also, I am the homeroom mother for Grayton's class, so I am trying to get creative with my baking. I am not very good at it, but it is so much fun!! If anyone has any new cute ideas, share them with me.
