Thanksgiving Play

Grayton's little Thanksgiving play was so adorable! He was the Indian chief, and he did such a fabulous job!! He is such a blessing to us!

Fun at the Library with Mimi

The kids love to go to the library, but Riley Kate gets so ecxited that she starts getting loud-which is not a good thing in the library!! Mimi took the kids to the library after going on a cookie hunt downtown! They had so much fun!!

Ali's Baby Shower

The kids and I went to Ali's first baby shower this weekend. Riley Kate and Grayton were so excited to go to the baby shower, and they are anxiously awaiting Bailey's arrival!! We canot wait until January--it's going to be so wonderful to have another baby around here (that I don't have to feed and change at 3 AM-haha!!)! I cannot wait to be an aunt, and Grayton and Riley Kate cannot wait to meet their sweet little cousin!!

Halloween Party and Hay Ride with Trick or Treating!!!

We started a new Halloween tradition this year at the Johnson's house! We had a party and hay ride for the children, and it was a big hit with everybody!! We had fun Halloween food, painted pumpkins, went on a hay ride, and trick or treated all together!! Everyone had a blast and we can't wait to do it again next year!!

Scarbrough Halloween Movie/Party Night

We had a Halloween party and movie night at our house the night before Halloween, and I fixed a special "scary" supper with "swamp juice" to drink and monster cake for dessert!! The kids loved it, and we all had fun just being together!!

MSU vs Florida

We had so much fun tailgating at the MSU vs Florida game! The energy in the stadium during the game was amazing!! We had a wonderful time!

Tailgating at MSU

We went to MSU Homecoming this weekend and tailgated even though the weather was not cooperating! We did have a wonderful time--as we always do in Starkville! The kids actually sat and watched the game-which made the trip much more enjoyable! We walked all over campus and around the Cotton District and took the kids to eat at The Grill! It is still delicious!! We had fun and cannot wait to come back for the Florida game!

OUR ADDICTION!!

OUR ADDICTION!!
After the birth of Grayton, Jason and I began running and became highly addicted!! I soon made my first jogging stroller purchase, The Tike Tech all terrain single jogger. It was wonderful until I needed another seat for Riley Kate. I got this Dreamer Design off of ebay, and I love it! I call it my freedom and my sanity because I can load up the kids and go running whenever I feel like it! The kids love to stroll. They usually ask to go. We have run several races just for fun--Delta Jubilee 5K, Juke Joint Festival 5K, St. Jude 1/2 Marathon, Double Decker 10K, 300 Oaks 10K, etc. We love to run and if there is a race we can make it to, we'll run it!! We are running about 4 to 5 miles a day now with long runs of 7 to 12 miles on the weekends!

A LITTLE HOBBY OF MINE

A LITTLE HOBBY OF MINE
Since Grayton's 1st birthday, I have ventured out a bit and started baking and creating my kid's birthday cakes each year. Also, I am the homeroom mother for Grayton's class, so I am trying to get creative with my baking. I am not very good at it, but it is so much fun!! If anyone has any new cute ideas, share them with me.
